The Idea
"Nationalisme, c'est la guerre"

This warning of the late french Prime Minister indicates a great danger to the further process of integration in europe. Nationalists, extremists and neo-fascists aim at fighting the european process of integration. They stir up the existing fears and euro-sceptical opinions of the people and thus reinforce anti-european tendencies and movements. But also the inner and social peace is disturbed by the instigation of prejudice and xenophobia. The project points at a more strongly presence of these problems in the European Adult Education and so at a reinforcement of a european consciousness. It competes for increasing the european dimension through the way of transnational communication and cooperation.
